How We Got Started
We Started With a Truck
and a Toolbox.
Kern Comforts didn't start as a furniture store. It started with a truck, a toolbox, and years of delivering and installing furniture for families across the Central Valley.
We were inside people's homes every single day — and we kept seeing the same problem. Families were either overpaying at big-box showrooms for the exact same styles, or settling for cheap furniture that wouldn't survive a year.
There was nothing in the middle: fair prices on furniture that actually lasts.
So we started selling it ourselves. No giant showroom overhead, no inflated markups, no fake “blowout sales” — just modern furniture at honest prices, from people who have carried it, assembled it, and stand behind it.
