At Kern Comforts Furniture, we are committed to providing quality furniture and a smooth customer experience. This policy outlines the conditions for returns, refunds, and exchanges.
Online Purchases (Website Orders)
Orders placed through KernComforts.com qualify for our standard return policy.
Customers may request a return within 7 days of delivery or pickup if the following conditions are met:
• Item is unused and unassembled
• Item remains in original factory packaging
• All hardware and parts are included
• Item is in the same condition as received
Customers are responsible for return transportation or return shipping costs.
Restocking Fee
All approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
This fee covers:
• Inspection and repackaging
• Handling and logistics costs
• Supplier coordination and restocking
The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Refund Processing
Once the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, minus the applicable restocking fee.
Delivery and assembly fees are non-refundable once the service has been completed.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be requested within 7 days of delivery or pickup if the item is:
• Unused
• Unassembled
• In original packaging
Customers are responsible for:
• Any price difference
• Delivery fees
• Assembly costs (if applicable)
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before the product has been processed with our distribution partner or scheduled for delivery.
Once an order has been processed, cancellation may not be possible.
Approved cancellations will be refunded to the original payment method.
Cash Sales & Marketplace Purchases
Purchases made outside of our website include:
• Facebook Marketplace transactions
• OfferUp purchases
• Cash payments
• Tuesday Drop or promotional inventory deals
• Clearance or limited inventory offers
These purchases are offered at discounted pricing and are considered final sale transactions.
Returns, refunds, or exchanges are not provided for these purchases, except for verified manufacturer defects reported at the time of delivery or pickup.
Customers are responsible for inspecting items prior to accepting delivery or pickup.
Damaged or Defective Items
If a product arrives damaged or defective, it must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.
